Was on a layover and didn’t want to have airport food—hubby found this gem a quick Uber ride away! Food was delicious, service was quick and friendly and prices were reasonable. We did go during brunch and enjoyed it, wish we could have tried some of the full menu. Hubby had the salad and really liked the combo of apples, nuts, cheese and greens with the dressing. I had the BLT—perfect amount of bacon to greens and tomato on well-toasted bread. If you’re local OR passing through—visit The Craft House sometime!
Really really good food. LOVE the tuna poke nachos, and their burgers. Drinks are delicious but nothing is alcohol forward so it might be nice if they added an option or two for people who like less sweet alcoholic drinks. Ate there at the restaurant as well as takeout and both were great!
Delicious food, multiple areas to sit, lots of glass windows and wood, and a nice patio. First time in a while I had a hard time picking my food because so many things sounded tasty. Everything that my friends and I ordered was worth the calories. Would be a place for hosting an event.
Solid pub food and quality beer selection, this is a great neighborhood pub. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff. The noise level is HIGH. There's no acoustic dampening, so even on a lazy Sunday it's a noisy environment. That's not a bad thing with the right company, but intimate conversation isn't happening. We had the hummus appetizer (loved it), a burger that came with gloves (didn't need them, but a cute gimmick), and a Cuban sandwich that beat any of the others I've had in Fresno by a mile. A good spot for older kids, but I'd leave the little ones at home... between the noise and the menu this isn't really for small children, but my teen enjoyed himself. Don't be in a hurry...they actually cook here, so the food is great, but you'll have time for a beer before it comes out!
I like the theme and atmosphere of the restaurant. Smaller building but feels spacious. Our waiter was super nice; very attentive to us even though it was a bit busy. The food came somewhat with a gourmet presentation; and it was delicious! A bit on the pricey side but it was totally worth it. I do recommend coming here at least once:) Thank you!
In town from the East Coast for only two days and it was hard to leave the restaurant after my second visit knowing I likely wouldn’t get back to have another meal. I ate here twice! Excellent food! It has its own style and flair beyond your typical pub fare. Beer 🍺 options tasty, atmosphere warm and inviting, staff welcoming, but the FOOD! The food was exceptional🫶
They always have really good food. The part I enjoy the most is all the different flavors in whatever I am eating. The most excellent service and delicious desserts also attribute as to why I keep going back, and also tell everyone I know they go here! Overall... Great job! 3/5/2022 Update: The Chicken Fried Waffles are absolutely delicious, drizzled with a peanut sauce and sprinkled with slivered almonds!! You need to try this one!! Also the surf and turf tots are really delicious, another must try!! They could be a meal in itself! Everything on the menu is really good 4/4/2022 Update: The Chicken Fried Waffles are still really delicious! The new server was very attentive and did a really great job (thanks Kayla)!! My wife had the Spicy Goat Burger which was also very good! I almost forgot to mention the desserts, which were very special.... See you there soon!
We decided to go have dinner at this restaurant after reading great reviews about it. And since we were with our dog, it was perfect for us because they offered a nice outdoor seating area. The service team was very friendly and helpful, especially our waitress was super nice. All the food was very fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also very good. My husband got a glass of local beer and I got a glass of passion fruit mojito. Both drinks were good and refreshing. Give the craft house a visit if you’re in the area.
Very cool location and very friendly staff. The food was good, though with some caveats. Pork Belly Fries These were great! The little bites of pork belly were really good with the blue cheese dressing and crunchy fries. I would share with a group because the sauce gets really cloying if you try to polish it off by yourself. Venice Beach Salad My wife was really excited for this one! She said the meat was great, the shrimp, chicken, and steak. She just needed a bit more dressing and veggies to get her by. Crispy Chicken Sandwich I was very excited for this one but couldn’t finish it. The butter lettuce was great, very fresh, but the chicken patty seemed like it was just a frozen patty reheated in the fryer. Tots were the same, just frozen premade tots. Nothing wrong with them just not as exciting, even with the jalapeño spread. The lovely server brought by some garlic ranch though, which had some punchy flavor. Overall, lovely place and staff, and decent enough food, but with some minor room for improvement in places. We look forward to returning to try something new!
Had great live music during brunch. Weekday and Weekend menus are different. Tried every fry they had to offer, talk about the perfect crisp. Guava mimosa was refreshing and came in a cute cup. Highly recommend.
